The weather outside is frightful!

Okay it may be a bit early for quoting Christmas songs but there has been such a change in the weather recently!

The nights are beginning to get darker and the days colder!

So.. no better time to write a blog post on some essentials in this cold weather. From skincare to just some general winter treats 😆

Everyone's skin can change expecially with the changes in the weather - it can become dehydrated, dry and damaged and that is not something we want coming into party season!

I'm going to share some of my favourite products with you this winter!

#1- SKIN ~

Want your skin hydrated and fresh looking all year around? I'm currently loving this product from Vichy "Aquilia Thermal UV Spf 25 moisturiser!

€23 Cara Pharmacy 

You may be wondering why would I need a moisturiser with a Spf when we have no sun, although the sun isn't there we still need to protect our skin, expecially UVA skins which can make the skin age😧

This contains thermal spring water so it feels super light weight on the skin, what I love is you can feel the moisturiser really sinking in.. Like it's actually working!

This product gets a 10/10 from me 🙋 🙋

Face mask ~ 

A face mask is a must all year around just because there so nice to do and you feel pampered and fresh after! One you will love for winter to keep the skin nice and smooth is trusty 'Garnier moisture bomb' 

Although this has been around for awhile its a product that most definitely won't be forgotten about. It's a quick fix to give the skin moisture in 15min hence the name moisture BOMB! Your skin will feel as smooth as can be afterwards and it costs no dearer than €4

Before applying the face mask make sure your skin is freshly cleaned first using any cleanser suitable for your skin type! Then apply the mask to dry skin! It may feel tingly at first but that is the mask doing its job! 

Leave the mask for about 10 minutes on your face sit back and relax! Something fun and relaxing is putting some cucumbers on your eyes aswell as feeling relaxing it can reduce dark circles from under the eyes! 

It's not just put into movies for the LOLs..

I would definitely recommend this mask expecially if you have dry skin! 

#2- LIPS~

Nothing irritates me more than chapped lips or dry lips I hate the feeling so much and it's so so common at winter with the cold weather. 

 An important tip for flaky lips is to exfoliate them use any exfoliater and gently massage the lips then use your tooth brush to massage the lips and get rid of any excess dead skin cells! 

However to keep the lips hydrated I'm obsessed with La Roche Pósay Nutritc lip balm.. This stuff is lifeee

It costs 4,50 and can be bought in Cara pharmacy or any lá Roche supplier.

Throw out Carmex or whatever you've been using because chances are it's not doing anything for your lips and give this a go for a week and you'll be mind blown😁😁

#3- SMELL~

Let's face it we all love to smell sensational.. Or if not other people love it 😂 These cold months are the time to treat yourself and buy a fragrance for the winter! Whether it's for you or a present!

For her ~

Ellie sab "Girl of now" this is my favourite fragrance at the moment I love everything about it from the smell to the packaging!

€48.00 - 30ml

This is a beautifully crafted fragrance gorgeous for autumn/winter. It has top motes of pistachio and pear! The heart of it is made up with almond and orange blossom and the base is tonka bean and patchouli. 

If you like something fresh something new with a tad bit of sweetness this is the perfume for you!  Also as it's an eau de perfume it will last all day!

For him ~

Paco Rabanne has always been a popular brand expecially for Christmas gifts, there newest mens fragrance is 'paco rabanne XS' 

The first thing I noticed about this fragrance was the packaging it's so eye catching and luxurious!

This is a fragrance I think would suit any age as its smell is quiet universal.

This fragrance is so vibrant and fresh with a bit of spice you can't help but love it!

#4- HAIR~

Don't forget about your hair it needs some TLC expecially at winter! And nothing better than a hair mask! One of my favourites is milkshake natural care mask!

Around €12.00 

I apply this to my hair every second night, your hair feels so smooth and vibrant after using it! Leave in wet hair for about 20mims and only apply to the ends! The tub lasts ages too! 

#5- TEETH

Want a glimmering smile for Christmas? Two Galway dentists came up with 'spotlight teethwhitening strips' these are the only teeth whitening strips hydrogen peroxide at a safe level so that's why they're so popular!

Use them for two weeks straight leave them on for an hour a day to remove them unwanted stains and get your desired smile ☺
