This post is a little different.. so I tried out a new ice cream it's called HALO.
This ice cream has been compared to Ben & Jerrys at a fraction of the calories!!
320 calories for the tub .. so I was thinking that it must be full of sugar or artificial preservatives or whatever but it's actually not too bad at 5.6 grams of sugar!
Below you will see the nutritional info of this product -
This iceream is also gluten free and vegetarian friendly!
It comes in two flavours chocolate and vanilla.
This ice cream gets a thumbs up for me, tastes good and it's not as bad as other icecreams that are high in calories.
So this product costs €6 in Tesco, which is kinda dear I guess for ice cream and the tub isn't huge ..
But happy days I found a kind of dupe of this product. If you can use that term for ice cream!
The other ice cream is €3 in Centra and 290 calories per tub!
This is called Breyers ice cream ..
This tastes good and the only real difference in ingredients is that the HALO ice cream has a bit more protein in it.

This comes in smooth vanilla and chocolate similar to the HALO ice cream.
Also I like how this has all the ingredients are well listed whereas I could barely see it at all on the HALO ice cream? Or to be honest I don't even know if they had ingredients on them?
The Breyers does not state it's gluten free also and it contains dairy where as HALO top is dairy and gluten free.
So my overall opinion .. I think I would be more likely to buy the Breyers, it's cheaper and less calories and tastes just as good!!
But they were both really nice at the end of the day.
I know today's post was quiet random!
