10 beauty bargains for under 10 euro!

My Favourite affordable beauty buys !

When many people think of makeup they think expensive. But that's not always the case. I'd recommend spending good money on your foundation but when it comes to other products like lipsticks, brow gels and eye shadows there are some very affordable products that are just as good as the expensive ones.

1) NYX brow promade - ( 7, 75 Boots)

This brow promenade is holy grail! Its a fabulous dupe for Inglot brow gel or Anastasia Beverly hills brow gel.

This brow promade is like a gel, it has a creamy texture and is very easy to use, giving that perfect brow. It comes in 5 different brow shades and gives a lovely tint to the brows.

When applying this brow gel I use an angled brush. A very affordable angle brush would be the AYU angled brow brush (3,50 ayumakeup.ie)

One problem I found with this was it dried up pretty quick but nothing a drop of duraline (12 euro Inglot) or coconut oil can't fix!

So to summarize NYX brow promade :
- Easy to use
- Affordable
- Long lasting
- Good Quality

* Always remember just because there not twins doesn't mean they cant be sisters. *

2) Maybelline Great Lash Mascara - (7,49)

This is definitely one of my favourite mascaras bargain or no bargain this mascara is fantastic and does what it says on its package.

It comes in a funky pink black and green packaging which reminds me like of the 60's or something but I love it.

This mascara conditions as it thickens. It features a lash doubling formula so it makes your lashes look luscious and long. Yayy cant complain to that! The mascara brush is the perfect shape for building up a very full lash look.

I love the shade " blackest black" because its super black and makes your lashes look flawlessly long.

* Curl your lashes with a curling wand before applying this for an extra luscious effect. *

3) Catrice Camouflage Concealer - (3,50)

I have heard a lot about this product. I heard people say this is by far the best concealer ever oh you must try this concealer. So for 3,50 I said well there isn't too much to loose if I don't like it.

I think its safe to say i spent that 3,50. This product is actually brilliant I was very sceptical about using it because I'm very odd about using cheaper brands on my skin as it's very sensitive.

But definitely now I think it's one of THE BEST affordable concealers out there!

This product is super creamy and doesn't cake one bit! It stays on your skin once applied properly.

* When applying concealer you apply it AFTER you apply the foundation. make sure its well blended and set with powder. *

4) Makeup Revolution Highlighter -  Golden Lights - (4,20)

EEEEEEKKK!! Highlighter is like my favourite makeup product of life!!

This one is so gorgeous. You can get it in golden lights and peach lights but I haven't tried peach lights!

Before I go on for anyone wondering where in Galway sells Revolution products, they can be bought in Briarhill Pharmacy situated beside Dunnes Stores and across from the Clayton Hotel.

The packaging is very sleek and simple. This shade golden lights is perfect for warmer/tanned skin tones ( that includes fake tan too lol )

I find they give a very subtle glow so if you want a very dramatic highlight or you want to be seen from Mars (like me!!) Layer it up. ( not too much though you don't want it cakey ! )

I also find this highlighter looks gorgeous with others so don't be afraid to mix and match and try new things!

* Eyeshdows can be used as highlighters, so take out that white shimmery shadow and pop it above your cheekbones. *

5) Penneys Lip Liners - (1,50)

Guys I actually can't get over these lip liners! Penney's are really doing great with there line of makeup products!

These lip liners come in loads of different colours!

My favourite being " Desert Sand ", what a cool name! This is a gorgeous nudish brown colour .. my absolute favourite and perfect for winter!

In my makeup kit I mainly use MAC lipliners but for myself I decide well why not give penneys lip liners a go and I have to say there pretty amazing!

You can't deny yourself a treat once in awhile of a beautiful MAC liner but if your new to lip liner or running low on funds these are a great affordable brand!

They glide on easily and last pretty much all day once applied properly. These can be topped! I've seen a few people think you couldn't top them.

* Line your lips with lip liner and fill in before applying lipstick for keeping it in place for longer.*

6) Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick ( 7,99 )

When I started wearing lipsticks it went from essence brand to Rimmel and then slowly up to the more expensive ranges.

Rimmel is an amazing brand I find with there lipsticks they really know how to wow!

My very first shade in the moisture renew lipstick was "500 Diva Red" to this day i'm still a great fan of this lipstick!

This colour is a very bold red ( as you can see by the name DIVA red) I find this shade is gorgeous all year round. Pair it with some classy shades for a sleek summer look or pair it with a woolly had and dark lip liner for a gorgeous autumn look.

This lipstick is very moisturizing filled with Vitamins A,C,E ( who knew lipstick could help your lips haha )

It has a 23 different shades and can be bought from most stores.  The packaging is very cute and simple.

* Before you take a sip of water, wine whatever your drinking .. LICK YOUR LIPS .. this should keep you from staining your glass with that bright red lippy *

7) Batiste Dry Shampoo - (3,99 Boots)

Okay so now your wondering why is this here but I said beauty products and hair is beauty too!

I'm sure ye are all familiar with this beauty must have! From electric picnic and so on!!

This little product is amazing! I wouldn't use it much but if your ever stuck or wake up late its so handy to just spray a little in your roots and walllllaa new hair!

If your like me and you wash your hair and the next day it looks greasy but your like nooo I dont wanna wash my hair again because its bad for it bla bla then this is perfect for you.

Is your colour growing out? Haven't got the time or money to book a hair appointment? Fear not spray some of this in your roots to brighten them up  a bit!

I have heard some bad reviews about this product so that's probably why i don't use it much and as well I like to wash my hair like every day but for a festival or camping trip this thing is the bessssst!!

* Make sure you use the correct dry shampoo for the appropriate hair colour.. aka - don't use brown dry shampoo in blonde hair *

8) Penneys "Sultry"  Lashes - (1,50)

Its probably pointless me saying it here because everyone that loves lashes has probably fallen in love with these anyway but if not try them!!

Seriously they are absolutely gorgeous, im not one to spend big money on lashes because I usually just bin them after I use them once.

Beauty bloggers and makeup artist are always raving about these! They look so nice on giving a really dramatic full look.

I find adding lashes on a night out really finishes a look ( my eyelashes feel naked without them )

DO NOTTTT use the glue in the pack! Its so so bad! Buy yourself some duo glue which can be now bought in penneys for 5 euro I think. It's so much better and once you have them applied proper they will last you all night. Remember let the glue go tacky before you apply them.

*Make sure to cut the lashes to your eye size before applying.*

9) St Ives Face Scrub - (3,95 - 6,00)

Image result for st ives facial scrub

I love this facial scrub would definitely be lost without it!

Im not really sure about the price of this ive bought it for 3,95 in Cara a few times and around 6 euro in tesco so I guess it depends really.

It smells like apricots its so yum! ( please don't eat it )

This deep cleanses your skin leaving it feeling fresh and smooth .. literally my face feels so so smooth after it.

I usually wash my face with warm water and then massage it into my face ( its a facial scrub but i'd never scrub my skin too much) Remember its your face and you've to be gentle so massage away!!

Its oil free so its great for oily/ blemish prone skin!  I use it about 3 times a week.

* I usually use the facial scrub first and then cleanse/ tone and moisturise *

10) Inglot eyeshadows (6 euro )

Image result for inglot eyeshadow pan
In total for this photo it would cost you 32 euro (very expensive for a blog post on affordable beauty but you can buy the pans separate and I couldn't not mention my favourite eyeshadow!!

Technically its 6 euro for the pan of eye shadow but if you just buy a big palette and fill it up over time it works out very inexpensive.

I don't know what it is about Inglot when people think Inglot they say oh its so expensive and its actually pretty affordable for such a well known good quality brand.

The eyeshadows are fantastic! They are so pigmented. Inglot shadows would definitely be my " go too" shadows because they're pigmented, affordable and come in loaaads of different colours from matte to shimmaa.

When choosing a palette from Inglot i'd really mix and match. Inglot makeup isn't boring at all so why not go crazy and use a colour you've never used before .. like yellow!!

* A cheap under eyeshadow base is " essence, I <3 stage eyeshadow base " its brilliant and 1,99 *

Hope ye enjoyed my blog post on 10 beauty bargains for 10 euro and my little tips in italics underneath.

Happy Bargain Hunting!!
Mucho Love,
